yea so i have a 20 wide and 14 deep bass drum and im not getting a real deep sound from it without it sounding like crap even with a powerstroke 3. any suggestions?

You're only gonna get so much fromthat drum. I suggest running it wide open (no internal muffling or very little) porting it with a 5" (small) hole off-center, and keep both heads as loose as possible. That will help bring out some "oomph". Also, make sure your pedal has enough "throw" on it (the amount of swing the beater can travel before it hits the drum). That will give you a bit more pop. Oh, and use a hard beater too. No squishy felt crap...
