i found a pretty good deal on a Peal ELX 6 piece kit on www.drumsonsale.com and was considering either getting that or a Mapex M Birch 6 piece. wht do yall think?

m birch, no contest. when the choice is between birch and poplar you shouldnt even have to think about it.

i totally agree, compare the vision with the mapex insead of the ELX

alright, thanks you. i figured the m birch would b better, but ive read a bunch of good reviews bout the ELX so i figured there was something i was missing.

its a good kit, hence good reviews. its just isnt as nice as birch or maple kit. god i want my new 1 im going nuts here!!!!!
