Hi guys, long time no hang out...

I am in need of a bass drum part for my Rogers kit. The bass drum leg on the left hand side (if your looking at the front of the kit) needs the little spring that keeps the tention on the nut that holds it on. Right now, basically, the leg just sits on the drum and is not actually working like it is supposed to... Does this make sense?

Where can I get this piece/ spring? Is it a general piece or Rogers specific?

Thank you all, James

The Ploughman is a well of knowledge about Rogers. He may no possibly where to get spares. Also check out the Rogers Owners Forum(which I think Ploughman is a member of also) on Google to see if they have any leads. Good luck.
You can own the greatest drum ever made, but it won't change how well you can play it!

I would imagine what you need is a fairly standard piece. Pull the other one for comparison and go shopping.

Are these Island Music Rogers? Brooks Mays Rogers? Or Yamaha Rogers?

ummm,,, good question. They are the rogers 380 series. I cant really tell who "made" them. I guess I could just pull the spring off and find what I need at True Value? Ill look today!

I believe the R-380 series was when Fender owned the company.....in the 80's. My old kit (which I still have and am selling) is an R380 8 piece double bass (20 & 22 " kicks) that I bought in 86 I think.
Yamaha Maple Custom Absolutes, Paiste cymbals.
