I say Tama Tam-ah. That's how all my japanese drummer friends say it, so I'll take it from them.
And I say Remo... Uh. Reemo. XD

That's not how the suits at Hoshino pronounce it. They say "tah-mah".

The Remo rep always said "ree-mo" when I talked to him.

That is the correct pronounciation of Meinl, as it's a German name. Mine-l.
I mix between paiste as in feisty and paiste as in paste.
I say ta-ma without any accents, totally even.

When I worked at Guitar Center there was a guy working there that would pronounce Ludwig as "Lood-vig", I know that's the high German pronunciation but everyone looked at him strange when he said it.

That's how I pronounce Ludwig, maybe he should work in Germany or Austria. :P

On topic: I read Tam-ah but pronounce Tom-ah. I say pie-stee, mine-l, reemo.

Fixed that for ya'. :D

It's a Japanese word, not an English word. You don't say "lin-ger-ee" for lingerie do you? :)
