Ok so I'm going for it. I am going to get a Jazz series in 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 with a 13" and 2x 14" Snares. Gonna get Banana Rails and bass drum mounted ride stand, black inlayed bass drum hoops.........the whole vintage type 9 yards!! Just can't decide on the finish. It will be a wrap because I just can't afford anything else right now, but I love wrapped kit's anyway. I am excited!
You can own the greatest drum ever made, but it won't change how well you can play it!

I've gotta do the photobucket thing to publish my pictures. I will get onto that. I have primarily gone with gold glass, but there's a ruby red glass idea thats rattling around my head. I don't know about the gun metal wrap. I must check it out.

I know my next kit will be the white gun metal with black hardware. Currently I've got the broken glass (since 03), and I love it. The first DW I played on was my drum teacher's and he let me play it for a few shows we had. It was a red sparkle/glitter from even before my kit was made. Gold hardware, WOW. I loved that kit. Definitely classy looking.

If I'm not mistaken there is a review of this kit in one of the 4 latest Modern Drummer issues, I think they liked it. I could be mistaken though, might have been some other company that launched a jazz series. Just thought I'd tell you about that, I have no first hand experience with neither jazz nor the DW jazz kit.
