looks good, be careful about the bearing edges
some guys have had trouble with ddrum and bad bearing edges
it's something that can be fixed but it just sucks

Mmmmmm I dunno. I have the Diablos as a practice kit. The bearing edges are atrocious! Mine are the basswood. I'd be a bit skeptical how much is birch. Maybe its just the outer ply? I had low expectations for the kit as I only paid $500 with hardware and it serves its purpose. If your kit is like mine I would not recommend it as a gigging kit...the hardware is cheap and they are a bitch to tune up (bearing edges) and I run G2/Remo ebonies on it. The price seems kinda steep, but as others said, look at the exchange rate. Good luck though.
