I've re-discovered Steve Flynn, the drummer for death/tech/prog (yeah, i know this isn't a real term) legends Athiest and Atlanta-based Gnostic. Atheist are all crazy-good musicians and the drumming on Unquestionable Presence is some of the finest I've heard; and the opening of Mother Man still drops my jaw. After dropping of the radar for years, they've done a few 'reunion' tours over the last couple years and I've heard rumors about a new release. I'll believe it when I see it, but that would make me one happy drummer.

Steve Flynn is probably my second favorite Metal drummer of all time, right behind Gene Hoglan.
