I've been experiencing a Carcass revival the last couple of months and realized that I had always underestimated Ken's influence on extreme music. I'm sure that most people have the opinion that early albums had 2 problems - the production and the drumming. Being a little older and (hopefully) wiser I know that isn't the case. Carcass, even as 18 year-old kids, basically started an entire genre on their own. And while Ken was never a technical genius, his style and the ideas he had on grindcore drumming are still evident today.

I learned how to play drums jammin' to Carcass. Bill Steer was actually in Napalm Death first, but it seems like everyone who's anyone was in Napalm at some point

I just got into carcass a couple days ago thanks to a friend, and i definately think Ken Owen's got some great drumming in that band!

Carcass is awesome, I'm getting iffy about the Guitarist, however. I think he's just trying to use the reunion to promote himself and his Blues project since he's been quoted on calling his Metal material childish.
