There aren't bests in my opinion... Each drummer has a different unique style... Unless you're Barker or Jordison and you just play as fast and hard as you can :lol:

The three are very successful drummers who play drastically different styles and techniques. It is ignorant to diminish the talent of drummers like Barker, Roddy, and Jordison because of the media attention they get; everyone here has something they can learn from each of them--even if you don't like the style of music they play.

there's too many levels of great and best. so, i put these guys here not just cause they're good, but what personality they bring to the table too.

2. Keith Moon (the who)
3. Neil Peart (rush)
4. Jimmy Chamberlain (pumpkins)
5. Terry Bozzio (zappa)
6. Danny Carey (tool)
7. Jon Theodore (mars volta)
8. Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson)

and being influenced by punk rock, most of me life...i had to throw in Rat Scabbies...
