but lets do it anyway!!!!.....

Top 10 best all time rock drummers of all time.
here's my favs....(or should i say, favorites)...
there's too many levels of great and best. so, i put these guys here not just cause they're good, but what personality they bring to the table too.

1. John Bonham (zeppelin)
2. Keith Moon (the who)
3. Neil Peart (rush)
4. Jimmy Chamberlain (pumpkins)
5. Terry Bozzio (zappa)
6. Danny Carey (tool)
7. Jon Theodore (mars volta)
8. Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson)
9. Stewart Copeland (police)
10. Mitch Mitchell (hendrix)

and being influenced by punk rock, most of me life...i had to throw in Rat Scabbies...

IS the best rock drummer period. I love Bonzo, but no one has it like Danny.

Personally I am into the styles of Tomas Haake (Meshuggah), and Justin Foley (Blood Has Been Shed/Killswitch Engage). For crazy-type drummers I'd say Morgan Agren or Kieth Moon.
