I've got a set of 5000s that i'm trying to sell and my mate said he'd have them off me but he's left handed. Is there anyway you can set them up left handed?

if the slave has a single post then i dont think they can be converted. most pedals can be changed around but it takes a lot of work and it wont work quite the same.

Yeah that's what I thought. Ah well. Serves him right for being left handed.

Sorry dude, the 5000 is not a convertible pedal. Righty's are righty's, lefty's are lefty's. Some brands can be disassebled and converted to a lefty. The DW is NOT one of them. A special note to lefty's out there, too. If you buy a right-handed double, and take it apart to reassemble it as a lefty, IT VOIDS THE FACTORY WARRANTY!. Best to be a bit patient, and simply special order the pedal you want in a lefty version. Lots o' moving parts on double pedals... Hinges, u-joints, center rods, and chains have all been known to go fubar in the past. A warranty is your friend.
Oh, and if you still have the reciept for the pedal your selling, give a copy of it to whoever buys it from you. DW's warranty is 5 years, all they'll need is the reciept. ;)
