Yes it is, rofl.

The pedal is worth it if you're gonna have it forever, but there are a few weak points I noticed and were shown to me by the dude at Sam Ash (which was not your typical retard @ Sam Ash who can't find the stick you need or whatev.)

most of the parts are made out of cast pot metal, vs machined out of billet aluminum like the trick and axis. not gonna be as durable.

QFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Plus everything, and I mean everything is aluminum. The steel screws, screw into aluminum. No matter how strong whatever T2714738490 aluminum is, it's still gonna eventually corrode.

Sorry Brian, that point is wrong. The different grades do deteriorate at much different rates. Why do you think stainless lasts longer than carbon steel. And in this case of the Aluminum, the difference between cast and billet is density. Cast fixtures are much more porous. Meaning they have tiny little air pockets in them. Now the Demons may use a higher grade to cast with, but ultimately it will still be weaker and subject to stress failure, unlike forged materials.

Look at it this way, you can shatter cast iron pipe with a hammer. Try the same thing with forged steel, and eventually all you could do would be to flatten it out. It WILL NOT rip or shatter.

And the beaters leave an awful stain on Electric and coated heads, i found out the hard way.

And yes, I know you can get plastic ones, but the stock beaters l are nasty. Get Iron Cobra beaters if possible.

I would go so far as to say I hate these pedals.

Just throwing that out there. They don't come close to my axis in my opinion

The Trick pedals have Stainless Helicoil inserts on every screw... you'renot going to wear out THOSE threads, and if you do... they CAN be replaced!

I got steel inserts in my older model axis pedals for a bunch of the screws because aluminum is soft and a steel screw going into aluminum is no good. ( I believe this was Brians point" Those screws just stripped the aluminum threads right out of the pedal. But the steel inserts are still going strong.

Just got a demon drive double pedal today (whoa that set me back for a while $600) but i played it and couldnt pass it up. plus i like the fact i can turn it into a single pedal if needed (and i dont play double bass that much only at ends of songs) so its kinda of a nice
alternative.
