Hey guys, not necessarily a new member but i haven't posted much so far. I'm Adam. Glad to be a part of the DML family :D

I have recently bought a set of Aquarian "Response 2" heads for my toms ( to be used on my 12" and 14" inch superstars (birch)) Does anyone have any experience with these heads? I have to wait 'till friday to test them out so i'm busting to know what their like....

Also, just a random question.....
Is it possible to use two ply heads as resos? just curious how it would sound.. probably a stupid question.

Cheers guys.

I use Coated Response 2 heads on my toms. They have a warm and punchy sound.

Using two ply resonant would sound really warm and cut the volume down quite a bit.

One great thing about being a drummer is you can do anything you want. Mix brands, plys whatever You never know what you might stumble onto.
