i'm going into the studio next week and i think it's time for some new heads on my toms!
i want a warm and powerful sound with just the right amount of resonance.
i was looking around and i had my eye on either the G2's or the Emperors. i just can't decide! and should i get them clear or coated?
i also need them to be able to cut through the rest of the band during unmiced shows because my EC2's just weren't audible when all the other instruments were playing.
thanks for the help/suggestions ahead of time :D

Coated Emperors, G2, or Aquarian Response 2.

I love coated G2s. I used to use clears live and coated in the studio, but came to use coated all the time.
