Ive looked on the evans website and read about these heads and they sound to be what I want, a bit dampened yet still a bit open, warm with a low-end attack. I have had pinstripes for a while but im getting slightly bored with them being too dampened. My question, has anyone played these and if so what are your opinons, also, what resonant heads would be good to go with them. Plus are there any other heads that you prefer that are in there 'quite-but-not-too-open, warm, focused with good attack' ish genre?
Thanks :D

the thing is, they're double ply, which gets rid of a good portion of the higher overtones, but they're not muffled at all, so they still sing.
