Thinking of COMPLETELY reskinning my kit, questions!

Ok I finally realized the only way to get the big, low, open tones I want and I have some questions about the heads I'm thinking about

Toms:
Remo Coated Emperor Batter, Ebony Reso

Bass:
Remo Coated Powerstroke 3 Batter, Ebony Reso w/Porthole

Snare:
Coated Controlled Sound Reverse Dot Batter, Ambassador Snare Side

Any comments on any of these heads?

go with the g2 clear on the batter side, and g1 clears for the reso. head. that will surely give you those deep open tones for the toms.
Gretsch Catalina Maple-------> 22" x 18" bass, 10" x 8" and 12" x 9" toms, 14" x 14" floor tom, 16" x 16" floor tom, 6" x 14" snare.

Zildjian A Customs-------> 20" ride, 16" crash, 18" fast crash, 14" hi-hats.

Thanks for the advice, but I was more or less looking for feedback on the heads I had mentioned. I want coated heads for more warmth and focus, so I'll be getting coated heads, and I'm pretty sure Ebony is pretty much the same as G1, just black.

idk how i feel about remo's...they never really give me the right sound. of course its different on every set though. if you haven't tried out evans heads...i recommend it. they will change the sound and level of playing completely...they give me a musical hard on, if you will..hahaha

I played Evans for a long time and they were pretty good, never tried G2's though. But I was a big Evans guy until I got a pinstripe pre-pack for christmas. The pinstripes blew away the EC2's I was using, and the Powerstroke 3 blew away my EMADII, until I broke it since I didn't put an impact badge on.

So now I'm giving Remo a go with these new ideas

You know that the Powerstroke 3 comes with a kevlar impact badge, right?

What type of music do you play and what is your beater made of?

Ok guys, enough about the Remo Falams please, back to the original topic. I have still gotten zero feedback on the heads

I use PS3s with Aquarian Force II fronts, no hole no muffle. They're very loud.
My buddy Greg (with an export just like mine) has been going on about how bright his toms sound now that he put coated heads on, he's insisting I try them
I can't tell you anything about the snare head
