Drumheads are like chewing gum (sticky this should be)

Aquarian, Evans, Remo etc. All about drumheads.

When you put them on, they are nice and cracky- kind of like biting into a new piece of gum.. As they break in, they give you the fullest flavor you can imagine, and the enjoyment is very pleasurable.. As they age, they lose the luster and start sounding (tasting) like garbage. Eventually there is no discernible flavor left and alas, it's time to get a new piece of gum to chew.

That's how drumheads last. Yeah you can chew on it forever, but it won't really hold any flavor for too long.

New heads=a new beginning in tone.

Hehe. Um yeah totally. Like a pair of new white trainers(sneakers).
You can own the greatest drum ever made, but it won't change how well you can play it!

If you chew on a piece of gum long enough it eventually breaks down in your mouth. tastes really bad
