I can usually tune up my pdp's with stock heads pretty good. except for the snare. I am cursed when it comes to snare tuning. :cry:

ur probably using the stock snare. i bought a ddrum 7/13 snare for like 150 dollars and it has an amazing tuning range with remo heads. i had the same problem with the pearl forum snare. i just couldnt get it to sound that good.

Ya, I got a coated ambassador on it and it's easier now. Plus, I'm a bit more expierenced at tuning than I was 2 YEARS AGO when I posted that :lol:
