I just can't seem to get my doubles sounding right when I roll down the toms,
Any tips?

Doubles as in double strokes?

that takes a lot of muscle memory haha
sometimes i cant even get my singles sounding right..
the only tip i have is to check your grip and posture while doing doubles on toms make sure your grip is the same as when youre playing on the snare

well, you're not going to get the same response if you're trying to do doubles down the toms as if you were doing a double stroke roll on the snare.

practice playing double strokes on a practice pad, but articulate every stroke, as you do when playing the double in a paradiddle.

I practice them a few different ways, trying to find out which works best. I still suck at 'em.
