slow down,
start with basic rudiments on the bass
RLRRLRLLRLRRLRLLRLRRLRLL
stuff like that while playing a basic beat over it
then do
RRLLRRLLRRLLRRLL
and
LLRRLLRRLLRRLLRR
start slow and work up from there
it'll allow you control over your feet
instead of just
RLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLR

over time you'll get the hang out of it
just takes practice

hope that helps

that left foot syncopation will come in handy for the triplets, though :)
