Basically this is what I practice atm: the six stroke roll/paradiddlediddle (same thing?) and playing 8th & 16th note triplets in a 4/4 groove. Also I'm working on all my other notes against a metronome + grooving with a metronome and not loosing the click (going great!). I'm also going through Syncopation but that's going kind of slow as I'm facing some serious trouble with playing dotted 8th notes mixed with triplets (I think I'm playing that sixteenth note as the 'a' of a triplet).

I want something new that'll open up a new world for me, something fresh that I can explore when I'm not in the mood for rudiments/syncopation. I don't know if I'm making sense, I just want something "cool" to work on, something really groovy! Latino drumming is way too hard for me at the moment, but please do hit me with any suggestions and feel free to write out your own stuff/link to a lesson!

Thanks :)
