I am here at work. I have the stop sign" out (practice pad) and I am working with the metronome! At 140 BPM I am working on tripplets, single strokes. Now, I can do each hand at this tempo. Here is my challenge and question:

I want both of my hands to do single stroke tripplets- together at 140 BPM!

Do any of you practice playing both hands, samething, same time? This is really hard. You can feel the weakness in one of your hands and youll even notice time differences....Im working on making both hands strong together! Its a fun project....Whew, Im sweating!

I usually do that a few times a week. It's a great way to make sure of your hands are doing the same thing. I usually do it slowly though, for the control.

Is 140 too fast? My hands are almost at their limit at that pace. so, I am working on getting them level. my left will spaz faster than my right sometimes and that makes them off beat...so, I am working speed on the right hand and control on the left...at the same time. Leveling it all out. One hand should be able to do what the other hand does no problem. Balance. Thats something I have been missing for ever.

I'd move down to 70bpm.

The only stick work I can do at work is on a suspect! Don't get alot of practice though due to the invention of the taser. P.O.Y!

Good work man, that's ace! :-)

I have Xbox 360 and Wii and PS2 at work. Funny how when they're there all the time, I don't really play them that much....
