vintage rogers snare can the ploughman help?

can i get some info on this little beauty right here? its a friend of mine's drum and it sounds GREAT. he has all the original parts for it, the original lugs dont function but he has them as well as the throw off any info on date would be nice. thanks in advance!

THat drum is pre 1960. Looks like a Holiday snare drum 5x14, will be a three ply jasper shell with wide reinforcing rings inside. In decent shape it could sell for 300.00 or more dollars to the right person. Bread and butter lugs crack under high tension. Replacements are available through JPreproductions. They cost about 20.00 each. And you need the internal parts from the existing lugs.
