The Best sounding most reliable snare drum in the world. The Ludwig chrome Supraphonic 14" snare drum 1978.
Its dynamic, Loud or soft sensitive or harsh. With a coated head on and a thin bottom head its the best snare in the world. It cuts through classic rock to to soft jazz.
The Best wooden birch 7 ply snare drum the premier Genista 14" i would'nt be without it. It rocks, funks and i have gigged it to death.
My favourite Mahogony snare deep and tribal i love it! Black Panther (Mapex)
and my spare backup snare one i acquired thrown in with an old kit i bought a Arbor chrome deep snare it rocks and its made in Tiwan! It must have been good because it was a rip-off of the pearl deep chrome even the fittings are the same design.....
