i may get looked down upon, im not condoning its use, and i dont want to be banned over the topic but......... i really like to smoke herb and play drums, i dont think it makes me any better but it does make me much more relaxed and that alone makes playing easier, my back is stiff as a board most days and playing drums only makes me more sore than i began, playing baked really solved this issue quite quickly,it also gives me more time to learn something as im not tensing
up playing a snare roll.

just makes me feel great in general, hope fully im not jumped at the exit on this on ..........

I smoke too, so I'm not going to say anything there. But, record yourself playing sober and then playing stoned. Listen back and decide for yourself what state of mind you want to be in. If it fits the music, like stoner rock, right on. Typically though, you think you sound a lot better than you actually do.

I am currently devoid of the ganja persuasion for personal reasons but for the LIFE OF ME I cannot fathom why prohibition is held so steadfastly by the government.

For starters, "It" will NEVER going to go away. "It" costs us taxpayers $42 BILLION a year to keep illegal. "It" has many medicinal uses and is not addictive in a physical manner (unlike Alcohol).

Finally, God created herb. Man made beer. Who are you most likely to trust?

Back when I smoked weed I really enjoyed jamming high, but I never was high at a show because I need to be straight to perform to the best of my ability. When you're jamming you're throwing ideas in from all over the place, but when you're performing in front of people you want to be as solid as you can.

You wanna hear stupid—
Here in Denver they passed a ballot initiative legalizing the possession of doobage for adults, but the stupid DA insists on prosecuting under the state law. So instead of a petty offence ticket you used to be able to mail in, now it's an appearance in state court.

Yup. The most expensive war our country has ever fought is the drug war. It's a losing proposition. And why should someone's life be ruined, family torn apart, etc over a plant that has been used by humans for a multitude of useful purposes since before the ancient greek and roman or even mesopotamian times.

I used to smoke and play all the time when I was in a grunge jam band, but after a couple years of that, I just started getting lazy....... now I just do it occasionally when I know I am going to be playing some really trippy music

try playing drums on shrooms......that is intense

Well that's a tricky one, because God did create man, after all. I think he should have sat and brainstormed a bit more before he chose this particular design.

Now, what would happen if Stump stumbled upon this? (He's a cop right?) If not, disregard that statement.
