Well, not the house that I live in, but a 104 year old farm house that we have on our land. It was the house that my mom lived in for the first few years of her life. For the past several years we used it for storage.

Apparently someone had stolen a boat. They took the motor off the back (since it's really the most valuable part) and drug the boat out to the country. Unfortunately I live in the country. They butted it up against the back of the old house so it couldn't be seen from the road, then torched it and left. I'm guessing they wanted the house to burn too, so the boat would be burned completely to get rid of the evidence. At least we got there soon enough to write down the boat's tag number. Now we can at least find out who it belonged to.

A neighbor of mine actually saw the people pulling the boat down the dirt road shortly before it all happened. We gave the police a description, hopefully they'll be caught. I'm pretty pissed about it myself. It made my mother cry. And I'm sure there's someone out there who's really mad about their boat being stolen.

That's messed up. Someone destroying a family heirloom to cover up a petty crime. They need to be shot.

Sorry for that dude. Just another example of why I love locking up dirtbags who victimize innocent folks. Peace on ya and your Mom!

That's terrible, man. Totally messed up, but I guess there are people in this world who are more than a few sammiches short of a picnic. At least you and your family are okay, and that's the most important thing.

Also, that pic is incredible.

Jeez, man that sucks. Things like that can never be replaced, but remember they are just things. It could've been a whole lot worse.

Yeah, it coulda been much worse. It's really dry around here right now, we're lucky it didn't spread. Thank goodness for our volunteer fire department. Lucky there was one of them close and not at their paying job at the time.
