It would be cool to here opinions of other musicains. Guitarists, bassist and singers can help all of us be better drummers as well as we can help them in their art. Being able to link the sites would be a great trial. Peace on ya!

A couple of ideas I have:

On another board I post on, you can click a button on a post to thank the author if you feel the post was helpful. I think that this helps promote positive vibes all around.

Perhaps there could be a section where we can not only promote our bands website, but perhaps a place where we can list upcoming gigs and another to sell CD's.

Also, a list of who's online is a very cool idea. It would also be cool to see how many times a particular thread has been viewed. Alright, I'm done. Thanks for listening.

Shogun

good idea, I second that.

I third that man. Shogun tends to be full of good ideas. A views thing would be awesome.

I didn't read all the suggestions but I think a "Home" button after you post would be nice. That way, after posting, you could go right back to the main board instead of back to the last forum and then Home.

Given the constant repetition of such threads as, "Can anyone help me with my double-bass drum speed?", and "Can someone recommend a good *******(insert item here)", I think it would be a really good idea to have an FAQ section, where the most commonly-asked questions could have answers posted, then the inquisitive would have a reference point to go to for their queries.

I think that the Buddy Rich and Niel Peart forums should be taken down. Why focus on two drummers (no matter how great) when there are thousands of awesome drummers. Just keep the "drummer worlds" forum and have BR and NP threads in there...

i feel that this site should have like a chat room so we could all message each other in real time. because people (including myself) are posting topics that arent necessary or just plain dumb. :D
