getting endorsed

Postby iatemygoat » Thu Feb 18, 2010 11:32 am

im sure im thinking way ahead of myself but i feel like i have the skill to get endorsed just not the recognition.

anyway im thinking of trying to get endorsed by Meinl, Vater, and (in my dreams)Mapex. Although, my friend works at my old highschool teaching drums for marching band and they have a mapex rep he is going to talk to. keeping my fingers crossed!

im partly doing this because of a younger drummer in my town who has pretty much every part of his set sponsored by someone. he gets flown out to places to do clinics and whatnot. i feel that if he can do then shit why cant i?

You need to have exposure. Was he doing clinics before he got endorsed? What was he doing when he got endorsed?
