I just played at a festival and one of the bands did all of Neil Young's Harvest. So I dug that out. I'm also listening to Ben Allison, Blues Traveler, and some Cake.

Today I'm gonna set my ipod to shuffle and listen to:

Steely Dan - Aja
Miles Davis - Jazz at the Plaze (live jazz records are great)
Stanton Moore - III
Cannonball Adderley - Something else

as you can tell I'm workin on my funky jazz groove feel type stuff. And I'm in a dancin mood, too bad I can't do much besides sit in a chair and eat ice cream, lol

peace bros,

The only time I can listen to music is in my car. The stuff that's in the player, or within arm's reach without causing a traffic accident:
--Ryan Adams: "Cold Roses" and "Gold"
--Wilco: "Kicking Television" and "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"
--Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen: "Too Much Fun"
--Jesse Sprinkle: "Surrounded By Lights"

The last one is a good friend of mine who has played with Poor Old Lu, Dead Poetic, and Burning Daylight. www.myspace.com/jessesprinkleofficial
good heavy pop.
