if ... if i met some dude in a bar and we hit it off and had a great chat and i thought to myself 'hey, this guy would be a good person to have as a friend' and then i asked him 'hey man, what do you do for a living?' and he said he was a parking attendant, i would stand up and leave immediately in disgust.

my car was clamped while i was unloading my drums in an alley last night and i had to fork out £250 to have it released.

Sorry to hear that man, not funny!

I was outside a venue waiting to load in, actually IN MY CAR and some militant clampers turned up and said if I didn't move they would clamp my car, with me in it... They we're serious too! That was the Freebutt in Brighton if anyone ever plays there.

Been ticketed numerous times loading and unloading and I always make sure I'm not causing an obstruction as much as possible. I know it's the law, etc etc but hey, cut a guy some slack.

In fact we were sat in our van, waiting for the 10 minutes to pass so that we could park for free as after 6pm it was free to park right outside the Dublin Castle in Camden. Someone wrote a ticket and stuck it on our window so slyly we inside the van didn't even notice.

I'm sure they get incentives to ticket as many people as possible. So rather than use common sense as to weather or not someone is being a deliberate ass or just doing what they have to do, they write tickets from afar then just run up, slap the ticket on and get outta there.

Here it is done electronically. If they start to right the ticket it is set in stone and they cannot stop. The town I work in is done by the Provincial Police and they are real strict. A buddy of mine's wife stopped at a bank Machine at 5:45 a.m. and parked in a handicap spot. She was there for like 2 minutes top and nobody was going to use it at 5:45 A.M. was her logic. It cost them 300.00 dollars! That town has maybe 20 people who have the handicap rights and every block has 4 handicap spots!

Me and friends were playing football on grass in the city which you arent allowed to play ball games on. And a traffic warden walked over, we thought he was a policeman at first, so we picked up the ball and pretended that we werent playing. Then we saw he was a traffic warden and my mate said very loudly "Dont worry boys, hes just a traffic warden!" This guy then says "Ill have you know I have connections with the police!!" He looked really upset.

Such a funny moment.

I was downtown parked in front of a customer's house, I walked in to get the permit for my window, walked out and there was a ticket on my windsheild. I'm talking less then a minute - It's like he was hidding in the bushes writting the ticket the moment I pulled up
