The drum part on Push Push really fits, really compliments the vocals.

I like it man, I just pre-ordered Free For All. :D

Yutica Will Burn... is great. You didn't try to overpower the music, but you really made the whole thing tastier.

The guitar parts are great too btw, wish my guitarist would play like that...

well we DEFINITELY love set your goals, so that's a very nice compliment. =]

dude, that's so awsome that you ordered the album!! i'm really excited haha. i'm pretty sure you're the first from this board to do that.

i dunno about the pushpush drumparts, that was first take and we were pressed for time so i left it, but i wasn't ever really satisfied with it.

as for the guitar parts, it's really funny that you said that, because we were between guitar players when we recorded that so i recorded all the guitar!

I've told a quite a few friends about Free For All, and A Place For Friends by the way.

They've all said it's good stuff, I dunno if they've bought an album or not but they like it. :)

Keep on keepin' on man, you've got some good stuff goin' on.

yeah il defo let a few friends listen too. i guess the only problem with bands like this is that there are so many out there all playing similar sounding stuff

thanks so much, both of you. we need all the help we can get!!

and yeah, the genre is overcrowded. but give it a year or two and everyone will be in cobra starship style, electropop bands. and we'll still be doing this. lol.

I like Cobra Starship:D I saw them live a couple of weeks ago, and they sucked. They have some really fun songs though.

hahahahahaa.

i like their recordings and how fun they are, but you're right, they're not that good live. but they're fairly new, i'm sure they'll progress.

their drummer is on the meinl site and from watching his videos i WAS NOT impressed. i'm pretty sure i even noticed some basic timekeeping problems in his playing. maybe he was just nervous about being filmed to be on meinl's website?

seriously? I thought he was pretty good live.. then again, you could barely hear him with all the samples and programmed drums they use. even live.

I'll go check the meinl website now.

yeah, I know what you mean.. Checked those videos on the meinl website. Doesn't seem to be very special indeed. It's gotta suck balls though, to have to play along with a click track every night at a show! I would suck at it. Then again, I'm not in an electropop band.

haha yeah. i've played a couple shows with a click before, so long as you have good enough headphones it's not so bad. but i decided instead to PRACTICE with a click but not play with one at shows. it still makes you keep tempo a lot better at shows.
