His drumming on Dancing With the Moonlit Knight is totally awesome. Early Genesis really shows how great he really is.

Yeah...I actually saw that tour at the Tower Theater in Philly. Amazing concert!
I always was impressed with his playing on The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway album too.
very tasteful and unique drumming style.

In the Sixties, I went to school with Phil Collins (Nelson Road Junior School, Whitton), and as I recall, he was a frequent visitor to the headmistress's office, as he was always tapping out beats on his desk with pencils LOL.

The only things I have against him are..

1. his solo songwriting career
2. that he stopped playing drums for Genesis live

He still playes quite a bit in concert. In fact, on the last tour Chester took a break and Phil played alone on a song or two.
