I've started up a drummer and drumming site quite recently.
The address is http://www.drummersrepublic.com if you're interested.

Any suggestions are much appreciated! :D

I run a group on Yahoo dedicated to folks who play Yamaha acoustic drums. We've existed since 2003, and we have 83 members worldwide, including James Haler, the product manager of Yamaha USA, and a few major Yamaha endorsers such as Erik Smith and Dave Mattacks. (Peter Erskine was also a member until he left Yamaha to join DW, and gave us a valuable interview posted in our archives.)

I don't have a lot of time to run the group anymore, but I do encourage people to join if they are playing Yamaha, it gets you a direct line to Jim Haler, who can answer any question you have regarding Yamaha gear, and provides wonderful customer service when he gets the time. You can find us online at:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/ya ... m_players/

You'll need a Yahoo! ID to join, but you can post questions and comments, pics of your Yamaha setup, and whatnot. I try my best to keep up with what's happening with the company, and post as much as I'm able (my user ID is pagan31569). I do work about 14-16 hours a day, so there's not much time, but we're still going strong. Anyone here on DML who is a Yamaha drummer is welcome to check the group out and join up. It is kind of a niche thing, but I'm a Yamaha guy, so that's what I did.

Cheers!
